STEREOHYPE | VISUAL IDENTITY | THE ROOTS 2004–2014
Stereohype.com was launched in October 2004 as an international platform for both emerging and established talents and is a T-shirt and button badge label with online boutique based in London.
___ FL@33 created Stereohype's logo and its playful, versatile and ever-evolving visual identity in combination with its different mascot squirrels. The flexible identity has been applied across designs for Stereohype's clothing range, postcards and posters, stickers, embroidered labels, custom shoelaces, multi-purpose swing tags, button badges, various packaging solutions, T-shirt hangers, stationery, exhibitions, giant party squirrel sculptures and the redesigned online boutique (v.2) – relaunched in 2015.
___ Elements of this identity kit even made it onto a FL@33-designed front cover of magazine Novum – World Of Graphic Design that featured our studio and elements even made it onto Tomi's screen-printed custom wedding jacket.

STEREOHYPE | VISUAL IDENTITY | THE SQUIRREL STORY CONTINOUS
With a new polygon wireframe 3D mascot squirrel at its centre the current visual identity gradually became more monochromatic in the years 2015–2019 when the first of a new generation of gift boxes were added to the overall more sophicated appearance.

___ This page here shows the roots and more playful beginnings when we were still looking for a voice for Stereohype. It was essential for Stereohype's reputation and business development and helped catapult the graphic art label into the wider design world.
___ Nowadays the new identity is more restrained to let the enormous amount of over 1,700 individual button badges shine by themselves.

MASCOT SQUIRREL
FL@33 created a mascot squirrel for Stereohype and many different incarnations have been included to Stereohype's visual identity and product range over the years. In 2018 selected mascot squirrels 2004–2018 have been released as button badges and Button Badge Motif Prints. See them all here at stereohype.com.

PRODUCT RANGE
Stereohype's popular product range used to include Stereohype T-shirts, but is now focused around the growing button badge collection that consists of the winners of an annual design competition, contributions to the design initiative B.I.O. (by invitation only) button badge series and various other special collaborative series such as MICA (MFA ILP), AFOMFS (A Few of My Favourite Sneakers) button badge series, Emoji Series, Stereohype's 10th anniversary badges 10x10 and Mascot Squirrel Series 1.
___ Its over 2,700 available products also include a wide selection button badge gift boxes, books and graphic art prints such as Button Badge Motif Prints – exclusively commissioned artworks, limited editions and rare products – a mix of hand-picked goodies by designers and artists from around the world. The focus is on fresh, innovative and inspirational works – available worldwide via stereohype.com and carefully selected, international stockists.
___ Regular design competitions give emerging and established artists/designers the chance to promote their talent and to get their artworks produced and featured. This activity ensures frequent updates and guarantees that the Stereohype range stays appealing to its critical and demanding customers. Competitions and exhibitions are announced via the website, mailing lists, social media channels and international supporters.
