45RPM ADAPTORS
These four artworks by FL@33's Tomi Vollauschek are from Stereohype's button badge gift box 45rpm Adaptors containing badges from B.I.O. (By Invitation Only) Button Badge Series 19. The button badge designs show a selection of different vintage 45rpm (rounds per minute) single adaptors.
___ The section of the circular area available on Stereohype's 8x10" Button Badge Motif Prints is exactly seven inch – the same as a 45rpm record. This presented a great opportunity to show these adaptor designs in action – together with a minimal line illustration of an actual life-sized 7" vinyl record. The vinyl labels playfully feature type elements such as "FL@33 Remix", "Stereo (hype)", its actual product number and print specs.
BUTTON BADGE MOTIF PRINTS
FL@33 developed a new print edition idea for graphic art label and online boutique Stereohype – the studio's sister-company. The edition is called Button Badge Motif Prints.
___ The super-vibrant Fine Art Giclée Prints feature selected designs from Stereohype's ever-growing one inch (25mm) button badge collection. High resolution files of the circular artworks are enlarged to seven inch (178mm) and printed with love and vivid archival inks on a beautifully textured 310gsm Hahnemühle paper (portrait, 8x10" / 203x254mm). Prints are then embossed with a badge-sized Stereohype certification seal that FL@33 designed.
___ Since launching this latest print edition Stereohype already added over 500 artworks to its collection. The print series promises to quickly grow to be as eclectic as Stereohype's widely-acclaimed button badge collection that already features over 1,700 artworks by over 650 established and emerging illustrators, graphic designers, typographers, photographers and artists from around the world.
