FL@33 POSTCARD #1 | TOWER CRANE TYPEFACE
This is the first postcard in what was to become FL@33's little series of cards featuring memorable studio projects and visuals. Tower Crane Typeface was designed prior to completion of FL@33's award -winning Trans-form magazine that was published in July 2001. This visual experiment later lead to Trans-form's Cityscape Insects.
POSTCARD / BUSINESS CARD COMBINATION
The postcard was printed in May 2001 on coated stock in a limited edition of 1,000. The card was first made available during the final year show 2001 of the Royal College of Art's post-graduate Master course – then still called Communication, Art and Design (instead of Visual Communications) – where both FL@33 founders studied.
___ This was also the first FL@33-designed card that was a postcard-business card combination with tiny stars printed on the back being helpful crop marks.
___ Assorted postcards are being added to all orders at FL@33's online boutique Stereohype.
