Grafik: Do You Need to Be Able to Draw to Be a Designer? | FL@33: Drawing helps us to create initial sketches, but for more refined visuals Agathe and I use drawing only as one of many techniques to communicate ideas. It's a pity, come to think of it, as drawing was an early passion for both of us and later even led to us pursuing the visual communication route. We practised drawing for years, including nude drawing and still life, but in our daily design practice we do enjoy a multidisciplinary approach to design and illustration, including photography, typography and animation among others – hence the answer: not necessarily, although the skills certainly help. | flat33.com
