POETRY COLLECTION
|p.20| (revised text version) Design: FL@33 | Project: Own project | Tomi Vollauschek of FL@33 used a variation of the dos-à-dos to create the cover of this poetry collection. Here, each of the two poetry collections are not bound into the gutters of the two folds. Instead, separate leaves of each sit inside two pockets created by paper whicht has been folded round and pasted to form pockets at the bottom of the alternate (and opposite) sides. This complicated cover concept was produced using just a single piece of paper, meaning that the initial piece of paper must have been cut into a shape allowing for the intricate pocket sections. Containing the collections of poetry Coup de Grace and Zwischenstation, this book was published in Frankfurt in 1998 in a limited edition of 100. The embossed cover was produced by hand.
