what's your favorite shop?   |
" I'don't really have one specific favourite shop, as even the best ones seem to lack some of the qualities of others. I do have a couple of favourite shops in Paris and London though, but I would prefer a mixture. The perfect shop for me would be a very special concept store – a combination of different spaces presenting a bookshop with comfy sofa, cutting edge design objects, showroom and exhibition space, delicatessen area with parma ham hanging from the ceiling, funky fashion and the hottest technology around. This place should be a source of inspiration, a place to meet, listen, read and look. The space should probably be devided in different areas providing appropriate atmospheres – inviting the audience and customers to explore and interact. The policy should be to provide highest quality and innovation for reasonable and affordable prices while supporting new talent, independent artists and designers beside established ones. I'd love this space..."
