2002 - 2003 >>> Trans-form, Trans-it, www.trans-port.org is a self-initiated
publication by F L @ 3 3. This first issue is a conceptual project
based on an everyday observation of tower cranes combining a magazine,
a CD-Rom and a website. The project was made public in July 2001
during the Royal College of Art, master degree Show 2001 in London.
It is presenting ambitious inside views on F L @ 3 3's fascination
and interest in concept, aesthetics, meaning and perception. Trans-form
is available online and in selected bookshops in London, Paris, Frankfurt
and Berlin. £19.95 / 29.90 Eur (50x32cm, 16 pages self cover, 4 colours,
190g uncoated paper, ltd. edition 1000) >>> AgatheHD.com is the portfolio
site of F L @ 3 3's own Agathe Jacquillat and presents more projects
and a very funky concept. AgatheHD.com is using icons and appearences
used at Mac OS interfaces to maintain a neutral environment and to provide
the presentation with the massive contrast between tech style and analogue
and often handmade illustrations and projects. Further on the perception
of entering a nearly private environment like Agathe's computer desktop
itself is provoked. The audience is invited to explore the projects
and to find the concept to be designed with the ambition to surprise
the viewer with a huge amount of amusing and interesting details. But
just have a look... www.agatheHD.com >>> Matelsom Corporate Identity
for Matelsom.com - the leading e-commerce mattress and bed supplier
in France. The new website (to be launched in fall 2002) will offer
choices of up to 5.000 products to be ordered online or via telephone.
Communication Strategies and Concept Generation lead to a new Logo
(to be introduced later this year), Website, Banners, Metro Posters,
Ads, Mattress Fabric Pattern, etc. >>> Samaritaine Metro Poster
Campaign for a big french shopping center in the heart of Paris.
The aim of this campaign is to create a fusion of Art Nouveau Architecture
and contemporary elements to provide a fresh image, based on a tradition
of the shopping center and the building itself. >>> project: AAT's
prototype Animated, Acoustic Typefaces, 1999-2001 A font collection
which explores certain different qualities and possibilities of typography
in print and screen-design. The mini-cd-rom* is presenting the first
suggestions of how to deal and play with AAT's. (free downloads)
The interactive application was finished in early January 2001 for the
Royal College of Art 'work in progress' exhibition and will be launched
soon online in a modified version. Presented are three type-faces called:
'delayed', 'unfolded' and 'binary' in different sound and animation
modes. By using mouse and keyboard you can play and write within the
application. AAT won the first prize of an int. multimedia competition
2001 organised by french interactive television company Noos and was
exhibited in October during the International Art Fair FIAC2001 in Paris.
Technical background and aims: The typefaces are available for print
as post-script fonts, truetype and AAT's. Further on they are also available
as interactive flash movies (*.swf) which can be scaled, transformed
and finally saved as individual flash movies for your webdesign. Or
you decide to use your individual AAT-composition for post-production
purposes and save it as b&w movie to use them later on as 'alpha-channels'
in video editing and composing programs. It is up to your imagination...
